Weekly summary of the sun and Indonesia

So far Indonesia has been pretty damn great! The water is clear, beaches are stunning and sun is out there every day :)

I arrived to Bali on Wednesday. I stayed in the place called Legian, it is not the main tourist area but allmost. Pretty fast I got sick of the lifestyle there -the beach is jammed with locals trying to sell you Everything; sunglasses, jewerly, newspapers, sharongs, manicyre, massage, massage oils etc. And when you walk at the street someone is trying to pull you over to little shops -gets annoying pretty fast.

So I bought the return trip to Gili Trawangan, one of the small islands of Lombok. After weird trip in shuttle bus and fast boat (that was super tiny), I arrived to the paradise :) here's no cars or any other motor vehicles! Beaches are cleaner and there's no people trying to sell tourist stuff.

I got some scary moments -I've booked the room for the first night from a small home stay. The building was built of bamboo and had open "windows" that all bugs were able to get in. Not to mention there wasn't any towels or tissues etc. At night I woke up to funny voices from neighbour (behind the wall), and then he started to curse. I looked up when I asked if everything is ok, and I saw fire!! I'm sure I made a record of getting out of the bed & out. Outside was a bed in full flames!! I ran to wake up the owner at the same time others tried to turn off the fire. Luckily they succeeded with owner's help. But it was so close call!! 

I figured out that there is a tiny box under each bed that has some burning stuff to keep mosquitos away. Somehow the mosquito net around the bed had got to that, started to burn and got the bed into flames. Luckily man has woke up to burn in his leg and understood to drag the bed out of the room (I'm still impressed, I would 't do that, just ran out).. But after that I didn't really get any sleep, I was too scared it would happen to me too.

But luckily I paid only 1night and was able to change the place :) now I'm staying in a decent place (made of concrete) and only downside is that the wifi is not working.. :) During trip to here I met a girl Olivia from UK, she's going home after 1year in Australia. We've been just hanging out at the beach, going to restaurants and chillin' out. And I've got a bunch of good information for my stay in Downunder :)
